Table 4 OPLS-DA model of variables discriminating healthy controls from patients with temporomandibular disorders myofascial pain resistant to treatment (TMD-R) and with a successful treatment outcome (TMD-S). Nine variables discriminated between groups and had a VIP-value > 1.0 and a p(corr) > 0.4. Three variables (MPT Masseter and hand, PPT Masseter) had a positive p(corr) and were higher in controls, all other variables were lower in controls
